The AI was capable — it could analyze medical literature and suggest treatment options. But the project failed on workflow integration. Doctors couldn't incorporate it into their existing clinical processes. The system didn't fit how oncologists actually make decisions.
It wasn't an AI intelligence failure. It was a failure to understand that technology only works when it fits into the way people actually do their jobs.
