About Resolvent Technologies

Most technology consultancies sell strategy. We build systems.

Resolvent Technologies was founded by Kevin Badinger after 30+ years of building, deploying, and operating enterprise platforms across healthcare, logistics, hospitality, retail, and transportation. The company exists because Kevin kept seeing the same pattern: organizations hire consultants who deliver a strategy deck, then leave. The strategy sits in a drawer. Nothing changes.

We do it differently. We assess the real problem. We design a system that solves it. We build it. We operate it. And we stay until it works — not until the contract runs out, but until the thing actually works.

What we believe

Build what lasts

Our platforms run for 10–20 years. That's not an accident — it's a design decision. We architect for longevity because replacing systems is expensive, disruptive, and usually avoidable.

Operate what you build

Anyone can draw an architecture diagram. We believe you don't really understand a system until you've run it in production, handled the 2 AM failures, and watched real people use it every day. That operational experience shapes how we design everything.

Person A gets the same quality as person B

This is the principle that runs through everything we build. Whether it's a nurse going through credentialing, a guest checking into a campground, or a staff member using an AI tool for the first time — the system should deliver the same reliable experience to everyone. Consistency isn't boring. It's the whole point.

Technology serves the mission

We've worked with healthcare companies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. We understand that the question isn't just "can we build this?" — it's "should we, and does it serve the people this organization exists to serve?"

Kevin Badinger

Founder & Lead Consultant

Kevin has spent 30+ years building enterprise technology systems — and then staying around to operate them.

As CEO of Credentia, he built and operated the Conductor platform — a nationwide nurse aide testing and credentialing system that processed 1M+ certifications across 35+ states, integrated with 50+ state licensing databases. The platform became the industry standard — clients operated on it daily for over a decade. Bootstrapped, profitable from year one, no outside capital. Acquired in 2023.

Before and after Conductor, Kevin served as an enterprise architect for Fortune 1000 organizations including Texas Instruments, designing and delivering 7+ major platforms across healthcare, retail, hospitality, and transportation.

Today, Kevin builds production AI systems daily — including Guardian, ThisWeekEats, and DecisionForge. These aren't demos. They're working systems built to the same operational standards as the enterprise platforms that came before them.

Nicole Badinger

Project Manager & Nonprofit Governance Advisor

Nicole brings a rare combination of technical fluency and organizational governance experience to every engagement.

Her background as a SQL developer means she doesn't just manage timelines — she understands what's happening inside the systems being built. She knows when a technical estimate is optimistic, when a data model has gaps, and when a "simple change" isn't simple at all.

As an experienced project manager, Nicole keeps complex initiatives on track, stakeholders aligned, and scope honest. She translates between technical teams and organizational leadership — ensuring that what gets built actually matches what was needed.

Nicole currently serves as board president of Northwestern Stables Barn, giving her firsthand experience with the governance structures, board dynamics, and accountability frameworks that mission-driven organizations navigate daily.

  • SQL developer background — technical fluency across the stack

How we build

Durability over hype

We optimize for reliability and long-term maintainability, not quick demo wins.

Small, senior teams

Work is done by people who have shipped and supported systems at scale.

AI as leverage, not theatre

We use AI where it makes decisions better or workflows faster, not just to say "AI."

No black-box handoffs

We design for clean handovers, documentation, and internal team ownership.

Selected prior work

A few systems from earlier in Kevin's career that still influence how we design platforms today.
